Why hire a duo for my wedding? 1) Flexibility: The Love Crystals can produce the sound of a live band, but with volume control. With a live drumkit, the volume can only be at one level, but with The Love Crystals' backing tracks, our full drum kit sounds can be as loud, or as 'background' as you like. 2) Space: Sometimes as weddings there may or may not be a large area for the music entertainment to set up in. The Love Crystals can fit into any little space, eg at a restaurant or small function venue, or give a spectacular look (especially with lighting) to a large stage space. 3) Variety: The Love Crystals, like all top duos, boasts an incredible variety of styles from rock n roll, retro through to top 40. This gives The Love Crystals the freedom to construct songlists to mix and match for all tastes. Compared to some larger music groups, variety is an added bonus Music duo versus DJ? Have the best of both worlds! The Love Crystals can perform all your favourite dinner / dance songs, and then during set breaks, provide excellent DJ sounds through their PA system. What are my options for music in between the duo's sets? Option 1: The Love Crystals have a variety of compilations made exclusively for 'in between sets', matching in perfectly with pre dinner, dinner and dance themes. Option 2: Alternatively, if you have an ipod with tracks on it that you wish to hear in the set breaks, simply organise with The Love Crystals prior to the wedding to have this played during set breaks. Option 3: If you wish to make use of The Love Crystals' fantastic sound system after the duo has completed their sets, (ie to continue dancing), this can be organised into the 'wedding package' that you and the duo agree upon.

I have chosen a friend / family member to be the MC. Will this work? The Love Crystals understand what it takes to make a smooth event. If your MC is your friend and is inexperienced, we will look after him / her, work closely with them and help them through the night. Could The Love Crystals take on the role of MC? Yes, The Love Crystals be your MC. All we need, is the required information clearly written down, and we do the rest! With years of performance experience, combined with confidence and practise with a microphone, we can provide excellent MC services. The price for this service would be negotiated with you as part of the overall wedding package/price.

What if my wedding is in country Victoria? The Love Crystals are happy to travel to wherever your wedding may be, provided that travel costs and possible accomodation requirements have been discussed and negotiated with you in the overall price.

Do I have to pay a deposit? Yes, The Love Crystals require a 30% deposit to be paid when booking a private function performance. How and when is payment made? Payment is made by cash or by cheque. When booking the duo, a deposit of 30% is required for all private function performances. The remainder of the amount must be paid to the duo at the commencement of the function.

Do you do parties? Of course! We are especially suited to 30ths, 40ths, 50ths, 60ths and yes we've also done 70ths! The Love Crystals have lots of party performance experience, and we have become a very popular party duo. Sometimes parties and other special events rate as our 'best sellers'. Can The Love Crystals play music in our wedding ceremony? We certainly can. Discuss with The Love Crystals about the style of music you would like at your ceremony. Some couples have chosen romantic ballads to be performed during the signing, and while they leave. Some brides have chosen to have a 'big' entrance, and exit, with appropriate song to match! Talk to us about the type of song you'd like, and if you have one in mind that you can't see on our list, request us to learn it for your ceremony.
